Highly regarded 10-1 shot American Patriot proved best on the day, emerging by a neck thanks to a powerful rally in the stretch. 4-1 co-second choice Heart to Heart finished second in the field of 11 while Conquest Panthera captured third at 27-1 odds. Ballagh Rocks was fourth with 4-1 Blacktype, What a View, Western Reserve, Inspector Lynley, 7-2 choice Bolo, Bondurant, and Calculator completing the order of finish. Conquest Enforcer was scratched.
