The $400,000 G1 Beholder Mile was run Saturday, June 3 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California - a one mile dirt test for fillies and mares three years old and upward. Hronis Racing's Curlin mare and 1-2 race favorite Stellar Wind bested a pretty two good foes in a field that was whittled down to just three - by just a neck for her fifth G1 victory. Front-running, 2-1 second choice Vale Dori was caught in the stretch and settled for second while Finest City got in for third at 4-1 odds. Faithfully and Show Stealer unfortunately scratched.
