Pink Lloyd Wins Vigil Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack
The $150,000 G3 Vigil Stakes went down Sunday, July 16 at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Ontario. Horses three years old and upward took to Woodbine's All Weather Track and raced seven furlongs. Entourage Stable's overwhelming 1-5 race favorite Pink Lloyd did what most expected and posted his fourth straight stakes score - this time by 2 1/4 lengths. 12-1 shot We Deer You finished second in the field of six with Western Elegance settling for third at 23-1 odds. Tale of the Nile was fourth with 5-1 second choice Riker and Great Wide Open completing the order of finish.
