The track has live horse racing April - June and simulcast horse racing seven days a week, featuring thoroughbred, quarter horse and harness wagering from tracks across the country. SunRay Park, originally San Juan Downs, opened in April 1984. After only eight years, San Juan Downs shuts down and is dark until 1999 when it is reopened as SunRay Park.
